melee weapons bugged

I hit a naked guy with my hatchet, showing 32 damage dealt. 

this should be impossible

 

another time I hit a naked player 5 times dealing 150 damage and he did not die.

 

I m not talking about lag or desnync. I m talking about the hitcount at the end of the match that shows you how many hits I made and the damage.

 

if my melee weapon makes 75 damage + 30% from my strength talents, this should not be possible.

Didn't they nerf melee damage so it's now impossible to get 1 hit?  Maybe that's why.

thanks, looks like they really nurfed the damage to 32 or 35 damge. so headshots still 1hit. but bodyshots don't 2hit

I haven't tried yet because I never try to melee anyone, but I figured it must be something to do with those changes.  I think they are trying to make it so that hatchling runs are still possible, but they shouldnt be able to drop a gear player with ease.

They nerfed the melee weapons bigtime even at the highest strenght level it will take you minimum of 2 headshots to kill someone

The melee damage is EXTREMELY unrealistic. Just hit a dude in the SKI-MASK with my tomahawk, and only did 25 dmg... Getting hit in the face and/or neck area with an axe or knife SHOULD be a 1 shot kill. People who survive this kind of damage IRL are considered VERY lucky for a reason...
