Built this about 4 or 5 years ago, recently upgraded GPU - still trundles along nicely, smashes pretty much everything I throw at it on max settings @ 1440p. All watercooled with EK 1080Ti block (no backplate yet), Heatkiller 2011 CPU block, and EK/Koolance radiators, Bitspower fittings and XSPC dual bay 5.25" bay reservoir with Laing D5 pump. Pretty basic water setup, but does the job more than well enough.

CPU: Intel i7-3930K 6-Core overclocked @ 4.6Ghz, stock voltages

Mobo: Asus ROG Rampage IV Extreme

RAM: 2x8GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-2400Mhz

GPU: EVGA 1080Ti FE overclocked @ +150Mhz on GPU, +300Mhz VRAM

PSU: Silverstone Strider 1000W 80+ Gold

HDD: Samsung EVO 250GB

Monitor: Asus PB278Q PLS Panel @ 2560x1440

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 945 (3.0 GHz) (AM3 socket)

Motherboard: Gigabyte 970A-D3P

RAM: 8.00 GB (4x2 GB, DDR3, ~670 MHz DRAM freq., not sure of brand or model)

GPU: NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti

WiFi: Netgear A6210 USB Adapter (download/upload speeds in Mbps over three tests approx. 30 seconds apart is 65.7/10.6, 62.4/7.36, 65.1/8.89 all with about 27 ms latency speed)

Storage: disk drive, I believe 1 TB

I'm looking for advice. I can't really play the game too well. The menu screens are extremely jumpy at first, but after a few minutes on each screen the performance improves. I cannot "exit" the game from the main menu, I have to force close it every time with Task Manager. Loading into a map usually takes about 10-15 minutes, and often times there is a long delay once I'm in the game before I can actually play; most of my lives have been lost to being picked off during this initial lag time. If I do somehow survive the first few minutes, I often experience performance drops as I travel.

I believe I may need to upgrade my RAM or storage or both. Perhaps even install a wifi card instead of using the USB adapter. But I want to know if any pros out there have any insight before I start throwing down money for upgrades that may or may not help. Thank you in advance.

Intel Core i7 6700K 4.5 ghz (OC)

Intel Skylake z170

Asus Gtx 1080TI FE (x2)

Corsair Vengeance LED 32GB (2x16) DDR4 3000 RAM

Samsung 850 PRO 513 GB 2.5 Inch SATA III SSD

Samsung 960 PRO Series 512GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 Internal SSD (fast as duck)

I have more into this computer but what's listed is the important stuff.

And still, I don't get optimal performance. Makes my balls hurt.
