does this game match you against same lvl people or just throw everyone in there

The thing i love about this game is regardless of the players level if you get the jump on them you can usually kill them first.

One thing i have often though is sometimes matchmaking takes a while sometimes its pretty much instant, will the game only start once a set amount of players are in? I mean take the map Customs this says 6-12 players ... Does this mean the game wont start until at least 6 players are matchmaking?

Back when you could check packets to get an idea of the number of players, it was possible to spawn in on a map and be the only player (I checked). I assume this hasn't changed but you'd be pretty unlikely to get that to happen now post recent wipe.

I assume it is atleast the 6 players on that map and you can still check packets and you should not be able to get in to an game alone unless others can't connect to that game or for some other reason get in that game.

Level doesn't really make much of a difference when you can basically get AK-74N at the start and mow down even the highest level players. So match making isn't really needed in a game like Tarkov i feel.
