Hard System Lock 0.8.4.1285

After the recent patch,

A friend of mine has been getting hard system locks whilst trying to play this,

after a bit of digging I found the following in the output_log file found at: C:\Battlestate Games\EFT\EscapeFromTarkov_Data (Depending where its installed)

The error I found was:

iResult = 0d3d11: failed to create buffer (target 0x1 mode 1 size 240) [0x887A0005]
d3d11: failed to create buffer (target 0x2 mode 1 size 12) [0x887A0005]
d3d11: attempt to lock null buffer

 

0x887A0005 is a Graphics Driver crash

 

 

If anyone else is getting the same let me know in this thread

Yes, I have had the game crash and lock up my system multiple times since the .8 patch released a few weeks ago. I have the same gpu driver crash you mentioned. It's probably happened at least 10 times.

Have tried a clean install of the GPU drivers, removing the old driver using DDU, no change, game continues to crash on launch with a hard system crash
