Scavs are fine

Anyone else noticing the magic aggro crosshair effect?  Coupled by the terminator non-stop headshot mastery these aimbot controlled scavs seem to have? Or is it just me?

scavs are fine, if they lower their numbers. but trying to combat 5 of em in this state is nearly suicide.

i think the biggest issue is how they track you through walls etc from 100m away, so you can't even reposition on them. better to just leave. oh, and if you are lining up a headshot on a scav standing still, you fire, and they just run for the woods. yup---sure.

I just got blasted in the face from a scav who's weapon was pointing in the air while I was in cover behind a dumpster.  Feels like the game uses random hit locations as opposed to mapping the scavs shooting.  I don't know what to say.  Other than something is off.

fighting 5 at a time should actually always be suicide, dat no arcade shooter here

Scavs are fine, they are just sended from hell to makes us fear them more than a normal player
this aint about killing scav, its about surviving at escaping from em
pro tips
1. dont make sound
2. dont shot if you cant one tap em
3. they are AI from hell but still AI so they are predictable and you can predict their movement
4. if you cant fight em, just RUN i repeat RUN BOI RUN
5. their aim aint shitty, so pratice your aim too
6. If no scav around meaning they are somewhere near you, learn their patrol route and guard point
7. learn to be like them, be a scav sometime to know their daily lives ( patrol route, weapons, characteristic )
8. scav always shoot and run, thats why when they shoot you and you didnt know where they are just run

okay, i would agree, especially with the way they're operating now - except for the fact that there is always around 5 scavs at each point (i guess depending on what map you're on).

so if it should always be suicide to fight 5 scavs, then why do they constantly allow 5 scavs to be present together? do they want players to never be able to extract from road to customs, and stuff like that? either way my point is it doesn't make sense.

keep them how they are but lower their numbers. it'll be perfect for gameplay and performance.

I just picked up the game and although I don't expect to instantly be a master I'm having a hell of a time even finishing a round. I'm fairly solid on shooters, have spent a lot of time watching people stream the game, and have a system that performs well for it (aside from the periodic hard stutters which seem to be a recent issue that many are getting).

The biggest issue I'm having is just the sheer number of enemies I'm having to deal with. I started out with some offline games to make sure I was comfortable with the controls. My first live game I went factory and killed 10 scavs as they swarmed in on me and eventually overwhelmed my ability to reload and switch weapons in time to defend myself. I get that there's going to be interest around any gunshots, but I've been clearing areas of enemies and clearing approach angles but then still not having time to finish some quick looting before I have another 2-3 scavs pressing me from at least 2 angles.

#Locked. Reason: We are always working on AI and have recently announced our upcoming work:

@Quasispec Note: this is a more team based game, so, aside from community tips in the above comments, it is a risk to play solo but not something that you can't learn. Maybe try joining a team or clan. Have fun!
