Hardware Issues 5-22-18

Ok so I've owned this game for almost 9 months, around when the beta first came out. But with fps issues I decided to leave the game for a little bit and every now I come back and play it and I would like to get really invested in the game but sometimes its seems its unplayable. Customs is hit or miss, sometimes it runs fine, sometimes I will completely freeze when getting shot at. Shoreline is basically unplayable. Factory is good. Woods is the same as customs. I haven't even tried interchange as whats the point of running an only player map when I only face heavily armed players when I can barely get an AK since I can't do quests that require me to go on customs.

I don't know if its hardware on my end or servers on their's. If there is anything I do please comment something, I'll try anything at this point.

My hardware;

Windows 10 64 bit

GTX 1050 2gb

i5 6500

2x4 gb Ram

No ssd

Try running Memory Cleaner while you play, if you try Memory Cleaner click options and check the two top boxes, also alt+tab out of the game and set the game to high priority. I also set both the EscapeFromTarkov.exe & BsgLauncher.exe to run as administrator. Although the recommended amount of RAM is 8GB the game has memory leaks at the moment so more RAM is better.

For me most maps run fine, i get the half a second lock up when players/scavs spawn in but for the most part they run fine. Only map that runs bad is Shoreline so even though its a great map im avoiding that for now but i have no issues with any of the other maps.

Good news is on Twitter Battlestate said they have discovered and fixed several of the stutter and freezing issues and will be implemented in intermediate update they also said optimisation for both Shoreline and Customs is almost done and should be in patch 0.9 or maybe earlier and finally working on improving the overall netcode.

Im running  these settings with this system.

Windows 10 x64 Pro

i7 6700K

GTX 1070 SuperClocked Black edition

16GB DDR4

And the game is installed on my Samsung 960 Pro.

My friend has a great CPU and a 1080Ti and he still gets stuttering/lockups, the game engine and netcode just aint optimised at the moment.

With that GFX card, quality needs to be set to low throughout.. also with 8gb Ram, you are going to have constant issues... SSD helps a ton with map loading in game loading if it needs to happen. If you are using swap files for memory buffering, then a disk drive is going to be very painful to play with.
