Is the Armor Broken?

Not sure how i died to a one shot to the chest. Found a used UNTAR on a dead guy, put it on and then came across another player and he one shot my chest.

I heard multiple shots from the other payer, there is also a shot whizzing near you.

the untar was already compromised and much less effective.

That definitely wasn't a "one shot", he hit you with a burst, as you can hear multiple rounds impacting and 'whizzing' by.  And with only 17 points left on that armor, the first shot would have 'zeroed' it, and the following shots killed you.

Never said he only fired one shot, i implied he only hit me with one shot. Do you see any hit marks on the top left of my screen? No you dont. It is supposed to register when i get shot, I see no red body parts. I just see a black screen. If he hit me with a burst, then you would see hit marks pop up on my player symbol on the the top left right before i died.

After reading this I too got 1 shot with armour on.

I believe the armor bug is still on.

For some reason, any 7.62 1 taps regardless through untar armor or below. Which is funny because the chest has 80hp but no bullet does enough damage to blacken it in 1 tap.

I've personally stopped trying to make sense of tarkov since 0.8.xxxx patch dropped.

That would explain why my sks runs have been so effective lately.
