Quasispec
I'm curious if anyone has an idea what sort of sound range walking (speed slider fully down) has. I've been working under the assumption that since I can't hear anything from myself over background noise while walking it was essentially silent with the exception of occasional interaction with wood or rubble. Possibly with comtacs the sound can be isolated at some reasonable range.
Orbry
I think it is at least few meters in all directions. I believe i've heard people silently walking one floor below me in dorms. But sometimes i feel like comcats start making me paranoic and hear things that are not here
5point5sixGUY
This is totally off topic but 2 buddies and myself were on Interchange the other day and we each purposely took turns running up one of the escalators while wearing comtacs. While I was literally standing at the base of the escalator I could hear one guy run up but the other guy made no sound. While they were at the top I ran up and only one of them could hear me run up.
