Dropping dead

My friend and I were playing on Customs, and as we played longer, our frame rate kept on decreasing until the point of 5 fps. When it got back to 60 fps our limbs went black and we dropped dead. It claims it was to a scav however we did not hear any bullets, just a strange thumping sound in the black screen after we died. Is this a server thing or a hacker?

Not sure, but the same thing happened to me at the gas station on shoreline twice over the weekend.

Welcome to the world of desync. 

Once that starts happening - go into a corner somewhere alt+F4 and reconnect. Stuff is happening at a different rate on the server than on your client.

had this 2 times in like 2000 raids. i guess its a server problem. at some point you feel that the fps are decreasing and it starts stuttering. so when we realize this starts happening we run for the extract.

Normally I'd just be in agreement with you guys but alas in both the cases I mentioned on shoreline, the time between frame drop and death was about 20 seconds. Alt+F4 would probably work but would leave me sitting wherever when I respawn (yes i do this already when i can do it safely); making to the extract, not so much.

Still, what else can one expect from the sweet, sweet mountain of salt that is Tarkov?

Yeah but if i am correct when this happens and you have to alt+f4 as i had to do so earlier cause my screen went black i could hear everything just couldn't see anything . Anyways it put me in god mode I guess you call it to where even if someone found me they could shoot away and i wouldn't die til after i reconnected. Personally I think that is lame cause i know players abuse that but given issues like this it is the only thing we can do .
