Roleplay Assignement #1: The Ambush

Operator,

we finally managed to get in contact with you. Unfortunatly we don't have much intel about what exactly happend in Tarkov, but we need to change that! We also managed to get in touch with an employee of a local inquiry comission. Your goal is to make it possible for the VIP to investigate a certain building at the shoreline and ensure his secure evacuation after his work is done. But you have to proceed with extrem caution. Our intelligence recived reports that there are forces in Tarkov who would like to prevent investigations of this kind by all costs.

Ensure that the employee of the comission can do his work at the building. Evacuate him afterwards to make sure that we get the intel he gathered.

Current situation:

Due to our intel, and this should coincide with your experiences, the shoreline and the sorrunding area is a highly competetive area. We are reciving reports about roaming gangs and maverick PMCs. Especcially these PMCs make us worry. We don't know how many they are and if and how they are organized . Your mission is extremly important for us and our and way forward in Tarkov.

The securing team's path is restricted and it is not allowed to go near the former resort. First, because it would endanger the VIP too much and to give the assassin a real chance to perform an ambush. It would be best if you agree on a way near the southern road, especially in the first attempts.

Goal of the VIPs:

The Goal of the VIP depends on the side of your infiltration

Infiltration from the west side
Target of the VIP is to reach the radio tower and make his investigations. As soon as his work is done, ensure his save evacuation on the exfil-point "Road to Customs".

infiltration from the east side
Target of the VIP is to reach the church near the swamp. As soon as his work is done, ensure his save evacuation on the exfil point "Tunnel.

Your team is consisting of five members with the following roles:

• VIP
• Securing team
• Assassin

Spawn

First goal is that all five teammember survive the spawingzone and the first minutes. You are working together and secure the area.

Preparations:

As soon as you secured the area, the assassin is leaving the team (and Discord/TS) and starts to look for a position for his ambush. His goal is to eliminate the VIP. It is up to him if he starts moving forward to the VIPs target or just get out of sight to follow the team and wait for the right moment.

Important! The assassin get a 3 minute head start!

Start of the game:

The securing team has to escort the VIP to his destination and afterwards ensure his save extraction out of the area. The task is considered successfully fulfilled for VIP and security team, if atleast one of the securing team and the VIP managed to visit the target and to extract from the map.

The task of the assassin is considered sucessfully fulfilled if he managed to kill the VIP and safely extracts from the map.

• UN Helmet,
• UN Vest,
• Not modified semi-automatic Pistole
• two magazines,
• 2x AI2,
• 2x Bandage.

Securing team:

• Free of choice
• preferabel the same look for each of the securing team

Assassin:

• Free of choice
• no helmet (only BEAR / USEC cap)

so yeah its on a normal server

Yeah, you are playing it of course on the normal servers. So you always have to expect other PMCs and Scavs that have nothing to do with the mission, just like always.

It is only a way to add another level of immersion into the game. The level of the immersion it self depends all alone of the team who is playing it that way :-)

We tried it several times to see if it could work and we just lost the VIP once to another team that spawned near to us, we stopped the assignement then and extracted on the nearest exit and tried again. The other times it was quite fun, because normaly you don't know if someone is crossing your way to the extraction point. Now you know that someone is expection you. Only downside of course is, that you are not getting much reward, because you acutally have to avoid scavs and high loot areas. So the reward lies in the gamestyle itself ;-)

Ohhh okay, I thought it was like some sort of special gameplay selection on it's own server.  I'd be interested.  I'm camping that extract LOL.
