So my game was doing just fine until this 0.86.1442 hotfix BSG just done within the last hour finished the raid then my game crashes . SO I have to manually close it out go to the launcher says I need to update so I do that then it takes forever an a day to get in to the point of the first screenshot just does the loading profile forever . And now I get this backend error like so many players are suffering from right now . I mean wtf BSG is it that damn difficult to not release garbage patches an hotfixes . All you guys do is break the beta more an more geez

Hello guys,

Yes the game is not available. This is a technical problem, not an Update. We are looking into it.

Thanks for the reports, we will let you know once the technical problem is solved.

Guys - don't worry, all works nice now at this time.  That gateway error was nice remind to us to clean our cookies. I was afraiden more than You, because my internet provider fixed network errors in the same time when gareway error appeared, and when i saw that error i called to internet provider with screams : "Give back my normal gateway!!!" :))))

P.S. I finished that round - after 10-15 sec. i've got an error of gateway - all on that picture + some googs in my Gamma  - "gift" from killed enemy . But, Thanks of God - i have my loot :)))

@Kremson Okay, so since you know how to build a game and fix the game, fix it for us, because all you are doing is making yourself look like a know-it-all, quit complaining, do something else, play some other game. OR, you could fix the game for us, your choice. It ain't easy to make a game, that is what I am studying in College At the minute, and the game I am making with my mates is hard. So leave the people at BSG alone to fix these issues, they are making a kick a** game, only for people that complain to much to then sh*t all over it. Give em a break, they are working their a**es off for us players.

Look kid first off we arent players we are testers , secondly the devs we got havent been able to fix a few issues that have been hurting the game ever since they started on it 2 years ago the main ones being desync netcode an constant frame drops . And then you have the never ending fact they do not test their updates before launching them . Do I have faith in them to finish the game no not really have they made a beautiful game thus far yes they have but the performance is what hinders that amazing beauty of the game . You cant even have amazing firefights with out several getting screwed over by one of those issues .

No I dont know it all and i went for the technical development for computers long time ago but I guess i should of went for programming an coding instead , which wouldnt really matter considering that BSG declines any US help . But whether they ever admit it or not they need more help otherwise the game will never be finished an once it does it will be a thing of the past by then if they dont stop being stubborn an not logical .

ANyways once you get your degree an get 20 years experience under you then come talk to me

Computer science an technology aka what you are using right now everything on the inside of it from the motherboard to the case it is in . But no do I know for sure how difficult it is for BSG ? Not entirely no but i do know that with any build any design or structure you are creating for a project a company etc is all on a time frame . No it isnt safe nor wise to rush anything when it comes to a PC or in this case a video game but in my area while you are working on that line of product any technical issues you run into that would hinder the project you then focus on that issue an get it resolved .

Hence why i say i should of went into coding an programming honestly its better money than the development side of the business thats for sure but it is what it is .

Programmers can definitely get more money for their time, I wish I didn’t the same.

The sheer combinations of machine setups and products involved on all levels is a huge nightmare for people like BSG as we sometimes experience in patches. As a light example you can compare all those with issues vs the posts in the same threads saying they don’t get the problems - what is the actual difference? Their PCs for the most part.

But here lies one of the reasons why consoles became so popular.

Every developer has the same hurdles, even the massive ones, except the big names have clout enough to not let their game run unless you’re drivers are up to date. That really annoys me but at the end of the day to me it’s just a game for a bit of fun, and if they have off days of lag and desync I just do something else.

Might be rabbiting on a bit too much now haha.
