Pricing weapons on "real life" prices in an apocalyptic fictional world

Am I alone in thinking that prices for guns would not be like real world, but rather inflated prices due to chaos and everything going bad?

Also I think best assault rifles should be more expensive, they should be much more pricey than SMGs, I feel it is too cheap to buy AK74 from traders and there is no need for SMGs due to assault rifles being only a LITTLE bit more expensive (maybe 10k roubles difference) definitely, since the AK is only a bit more expensive I would never go out of my way to pay for a little bit cheaper SMG that cannot engage in long range or hurt heavily armored persons. "real" prices in an apocalypse is not correct, apocalypse makes things more expensive due to lost society and civlization. If economy is fixed so SMGs and Pistols are more attractive to use then we would see more diversity in loadouts?

Also makarov rounds are a joke I think they need a small buff, they are only useful against Scav AI/player who dont wear armor, even little level 2 Armor class stops 100% of makarov bullets lol

Fantasy recoil à la CoD makes other weapons then laser-AR useless.

Realistic recoil would make SMG finally fulfill their role.

 

But hey, it's by far the most realistic shooter out there, in 2028 there is just no recoil.
