Getting annoyed now

Is anyone else really struggling since the wipe? I only started playing a couple of months ago on a potato rig running everything on the lowest settings and barely getting 30 fps. Still managed to do well despite everyone being high level amd geared. Treated myself to a new rig the other week and was running the game well. When .9 dropped thought I'd treat myself to EOD, mainly due to stash size. Now since the patch nearly every raid I'm dying. Getting the drop on people and pumping loads of bullets into them only for them to turn around and 2 shot me. 3 times now ive had people seem to know exactly where I am. Zoning in on me and killing me before I've even had chance to fire back. Once was on customs at night. Trying to finish the pocketwatch quest. Came up to new gas station, crouch sneaking all the way in order to not be heard. Pmc runs round from gas station and 1 shots me. Woods just now I literally spawned at the same rock as a hatcheter. Wtf is going on.

Yeah something has happened with either the netcode or ammo/armor.

I have seen so many people with no armor being sprayed down with hits, only to run away or turn and start shooting back.

 

This game has gone from realistic shooter, to The Division with bullet sponge enemies.

 

I'm sure there will be a small update soon to address whatever has happened.  It is being talked about all over the forums here, and on reddit, and on youtube, and on peoples streams.  So it is not just you. We are all having this problem of bullet sponge enemies at the moment.
