How Do Scav Extractions work?

So ive now died twice as a scav because i was bleeding out/ dying and extraction was like "nah duck you bro". Can you not extract even if youre not in combat but dying? This is seriously the worst thing ive even seen.

They work the same as a pmc but the locations are different to pmc extractions

They work like the PMC extractions but different and have more to choose from . Though I never was able to extract using the Camera Bunker Door in Factory , it always countdown to 0 then the countdown disappears and nothing happened

Is it possible that you have moved your charackter out from the extraction zone? If this happens the countdown in the upper right corner nevertheless counts on, but the green extraction message on the bottom should dissapear.

I have only had one experience that I couldnt extract but was a PMC at rock passage I seen an knew it was open before i went into resort an was badly injured coming out of resort so I went there an the flares was lit but it wouldnt let me extract at all . So I killed the scavs there at bunker luckily one had a morphine on him so I was able to do the sprint run all the way to the tunnel but got the MIA because time expired just as I entered the extract zone . Had I not been legged I could of ran full force but crap happens and that was back in 0.8.3 I havent encountered that problem since
