Do not remove examining.

I always loved this part of the game because it has that feeling of unwrapping a gift attached to it. Now with a reddit post with 200+ upvotes demanding to remove it, I want to express in this topic that it should NOT be removed. BSG don't give in to the reddit casual fortnite players.

even after a wipe you shouldnt have to examine things. i find it very tedious and a waste of time. doesnt happen in real life shouldnt happen in a "realistic hardcore realism video game"

When it’s released you’ll only need to examine stuff once. Wouldn’t worry about it.

So many wipes, I think we all are simply tired of doing things over and over at this point.

Like Vodor said, maybe it will be ok once they stop wiping at release, who knows, but examining is an odd skill...

Do they plan to implement equipment books/manuals later? If not I say remove examining, how can simply taking a closer look at something let you know what it is when you didnt know what it was to begin with lol

The way I see it is... you know what a barrel is, but you have to examine it to understand it's a barrel for a 153 shotgun and not a 133.

Or a barrel for a TT pistol and not a p226.

More of a character mental thing - as they do have skills that let you examine faster (I think) and stuff.

the only part of examining I absolutely HATE is ammo boxes. If I examine the box, the ammo inside should be examined already. Other than that I don't mind it. Its fine being there to me. Vodor makes a perfect answer of why its there and I agree with that.

OP....stupid idea. every wipe they do they should leave the memory alone. every year when i grow an age i dont need to examine things that i already know what they are. For future wipes they should do what they did to the rep for traders but and just leave the memory alone. having to re-examine things iv done 3 times now is dumb and tedious, and a waste of my time. you want to examine things, reset your account everytime you want to hit the examine things
