Salewas?

did they change/remove salewa locations in a recent patch? I can't find them anywhere anymore. I was farming them on interchange from the ambulances but after like 6 or 7 raids I haven't found a single one there and the vans weren't picked over.

Unless they changed it yesterday, it's just rng. Interchange is still good.  Found 4 in 1 raid  a couple of days ago.
On top of boxes and shelves, no keys.

yea I find the spa too dangerous

the checkpoint by the death hole in the wall and  the little shed that always has a ammo crate?

yes theres a un truck at the hole in the wall and a civil car next to the checkpoint theres a jacket in the back of the car. inside i find everytime one sometimes two salevas.

spawn naked, run to that car loot... if nothing there repeat until you have it

what i was trying to do on interchange. 

what was great was twice I ended up with guns and gear after failing not finding the med kits. I swear I get more stuff and do better when I'm not actually trying.

I hear ya, I play alone a lot and try to avoid hitting the shops unless I have to for missions items.

I found mine from loose loot spawns in the parking lot and near the bonfire on broken boxes near one of those little camping areas.
If you go to mantis and emercom you have a better chance I expect, but you can definitely find em running parking lot. Just focus on the tents and check the tables in em.

There is a medical bag on customs in the trunk of a car in the storage spawn area.  Med bag behind Old Gas station, the trunk of the car at checkpoint was mentioned.  The second story of 3 story dorms in the "commons" area on top of a tall shelf spawns cars and selawas.  That's just customs.

Shoreline if you dont want to go to the resort, there are two medbags on scav island (dont go there until after game clock 55:00 because there's a bug where scavs can spawn literally right next to you.)  There's a bag at the weather station. Theres at least one in one of the medium nicer houses in the village.

Interchange just hit Mantis, MES, there are two pharmacies upstairs. 

 

There are also a few world-spawn med locations that will be a splint 50% of the time but are still worth checking... like in customs under the large oil pipe in between the bus parkinglot and the trainbridge near new gas station/shortcut.

Edit to add, If you are really struggling with this quest I would suggest doing it as your scav, at least until you get familiar with all the locations.
