mistakegamer
17 registered hits to 1 dude's leg with a mini AK found in a weapon box, how the heck did that guy not die? I am a huge noob who can't 1 tap my enemies so I always go for the center mass and the legs, it worked pretty well in the last version and I managed to kill some players with glourious 7.62x39 PS. However, I am not really sure if I missed my targets or 7.62x39 is not as good, people seem to be able to tank at least 4 PS 7.62x39 in the torso now, shouldn't 7.62x39 1 or 2 shots players with level 3 armor? I am so confused now, please teach me how to get gud in this version.
Electric_Tiger
Well, the "mini ak" I'm assuming you mean the AKS 74-U. It's not a 7.62 weapon. It's a smaller 5.45 weapon, and does less damage. But nitpicking aside I understand that you lit the mothersucker up. The answer is he probably just kept spamming his medkits as you tried to gun him down. Welp I mixed up some of my content, I know it's 5.45, I lit that sucker up in real close quarter so I am confused how he could heal up that fast, and I was having trouble using 7.62 PS in other raids as it did not shred people like the last version. MikSchultzy
I don't have an answer for you, but am looking for similar issues. Frequently hitting 7+ times and doing 300+ damage, but no kill on target.
Electric_Tiger
Just now, mistakegamer said: Welp I mixed up some of my content, I know it's 5.45, I lit that sucker up in real close quarter so I am confused how he could heal up that fast, and I was having trouble using 7.62 PS in other raids as it did not shred people like the last version. Probably just has multiple medical kits queued up on his bar. If his leg didn't black out than it is totally possible he was barely clinging to life by spamming whatever his keys are. There also exist automatic heal cheats/programs where if you take damage, it pops a medkit.
Mei-0h
Went into an offline PvE raid just to do a little map recon and play with my first heavily modded AK, had a scav glitch out and was trying to run through a closed door to find cover when i shot him in the back so i proceeded to plant 18 more rounds in him before he finally dropped and i think all he had on was that crappy white body armor. Used 7.62 PS ammo which i read had decent armor penetration but doesnt seem to be the case if it took that many rounds. I've killed plenty of other scavs and PMCs with just a handful of rounds in online raids so i have no flippin clue how it works, normally i get dropped in one or two shots even with the not so crappy black body armor and decent helmet. My best setup is an SKS using PS rounds with a PSO scope and just run the Shoreline map at night and stay away from the middle of the map, just skirt the edges, best run i killed 11 scavs and came out with well over 100k in loot. mistakegamer
Is this some sort of new bugs going on or something? I am sure that the player scav have no time to recover as I was shooting him with a MP153 just around the corner, how the hell did he not die? Is shooting limbs no longer able to kill someone now? Skaldy
Seems like EoD player magic. This reminds me of me doing 1400+ damage on some EoD guy, he turns around and one shots me. Jokes aside i know hit register system sometimes delivers late damage. I have seen it couple of times where i shot some guy into oblivion(30 BPs) again he one shotted me but before screen went black i have seen him dropping on the ground as well. But i'm in the same boat with ya i have no idea where to shoot or what kind of damage i should expect

That's a case of Super Scav. For some reason I notice this most often when a scav is running in place, or stuck against an object and running into it.
