SCAVS REPUTATION SYSTEM

I love playing around and trying to group as a scav and I have my experience ruined a lot! So I was thinking about how they could improve scav runs and I came to this conclusion.

What do you think about this?

Would be nice to play scav knowing that the other scavs would not try to hurt you, instead they would group to kill and loot the pmcs.
I think that you should have a reputation as a scav, when your reputation is better, you get to play scav faster and with better equipment (Nice ak you have there!),
when your reputation is lower you have to wait longer and get worst equipment (Good luck with that makarov).
The equipment itself (And maybe the skin) would already show the other scavs if they have to be carefull playing around you or if they could count on you to group and kill the PMCs.

Improve reputation:
- killing PMCS
- killing SCAVS that killed SCAVS.
- Looting
- Leaving the match with enought xp

Lower reputation:
- Killing other scavs
- hiting other scavs
- Leaving the match without enought xp (So people that only get in to leave doesnt do that anymore and stay around for a while)

I like the idea that you have here but I feel like a better implementation would be that if your scav has low rep that other scavs will shoot on site. So that having a low scav rep really impacts those that promote scav on scav.

 

Really compounds the whole don't kill scavs :) 

 

either way this will probably be multiple patches away but awesome once implemented

 

On the other side it would be nice to see a system where self defense doesn't aggro the scavs on map (pretty sure they already said that is in the works)

I have some of the best runs as scav when i see a friendly one. Too bad there is no voice com(yet?). 

 

Also as mentioned. The agro of npc scavs needs to be sorted. Can’t count the times i have had to defend myself vs a player scav only to end up getting agro from ai scavs after you win. Kinda sux. Only way out is to flee. 

 

If it wasnt clear. Yeah bring on rep system.

I like your ideas very much. I know that the SCAVS are supposed to be these dog eat dog type characters with no moral ground, but they must have at least some form of guidelines among their ranks, otherwise, why would there be a SCAV boss?

Playing as a SCAV and teaming up with another player SCAV in a raid, like k3rm0r said, really is a nice and fun experience. This should be rewarded more, and killing other SCAVS should have some consequences for sure.

They've since the start written that there is no way to determain what condition your SCAV will be in when it spawns. So far the only "condition" that differs is the gear. Maybe they should make reality out of that description and have those SCAV killing SCAVS start out with two blacked out legs, or a blacked out stomach or something. Have them have to limp their way to the extraction only to already be flagged as a SCAV killer and shot to poo by the AI's :D

Agreed for the most point scav on scav is just annoying the ability to kill an NPC scav with no backlash from it is silly. Having AI scavs tell a hostile player scav apart from a defending one is needed the most right now. For simplicity sake it should return to the every scav is hostile regardless of range but with that implemented; Upon death your status or reputation as you will is reset allowing players to change their playstyle if they wish. 

People who do not use scavs too their advantage are morons you will benefit a whole lot more if you use AI scavs as a defending position and by working with player scavs because they can't carry everything.

yea, AI Scavs should only aggro against human scav who have either 

1. shot and/or killed another scav (AI or human) but they cannot aggro against a scav that retaliates.

so if human scav shoots my scav, say hits me in the arm, and I'm able to return fire and kill that scav, the others should not aggro against me. That may be tough to implement though.
