Insurance and people with tight schedules

I know that this subject has been discussed to death but hear me out.

Many players complain that they don't get to play often enough to get stuff back from insurance. Recently I became one of them and immediately realized what a possible solution would be. See, many if not most people with such tight schedules get to play, for instance, every weekend or every Monday, Friday, whatever day of the week. Point is, it's a weekly schedule.

So the solution would be as simple as adding a new insurer who will return your stuff not 24-36 or 12-24h after the game but after 5 or 6 days. This would mean that if you lose a game on a Sunday evening, you have all of your next Sunday (and possibly the Saturday before it) to pick it up but at the same time you can't just use it as extra storage space which is the main argument against all the solutions I've seen proposed so far.

I also apologize if this has been suggested before but you can imagine that this is not an easy thing to search for given the amount of threads on the subject, all of which tend to include the same key words.

Well, the idea isn't bad. I know the DEVs have touched on the possibility of having a mobile APP for Tarkov in which insurance claiming would be one of the features, but i'm not entirely sure if this will go through or not.

I think having an insurer who maybe charges more but will allow you to claim your insurance when you next log on after a set amount of time would be good. Once you log on you have like maybe an hour to put it into your stash or its gone.

So how does the "you can't just use it as extra storage space" work? you literally give me 3-4 days of more space for my stuff lol. Thats exactly what Maki meant.

I get the fact that not everybody spends much time ingame. But if you are THAT dedicated, you surely can check you computer once every 2-3 days.

BTT: This might be solved by adding a insurer that puts your stuff into you Stash after said hours. If you dont have enough space, it will get deleted. That would be a nice work-around imo.

The point is that you won't have the timer stay up for a whole week, the timer will be as long as it normally is but only start after 5-6 days. You can no more use that for storage than you can use Prapor.

Ah yes, I'll just literally go effin' AWOL and face several years in prison just to get my stuff back from insurance. What a great idea.

When people say they don't have the time, what they usually mean is that they truly don't have the time. Be it because they're at sea, abroad, conscripted like me, doesn't matter. They can't just walk home and play vidya.

Not really a solution. If I get, say, a dozen insurance returns of full gear, that's a lot to fit in my stash even despite me having EoD. And I'm pretty sure I'd get more over the course of a weekend. When I could still play nearly every day, I often had to lose a few games' worth of gear to be able to fit the last of the insurance returns of the day.
