DragunovCrux
From another post, I haven't found a thread where it addresses this issue: SCAVS ARE GRENADE EXPERTS - ELITE GRENADIERS. To break it down simply, a scav will always be able to throw the grenade at a perfect arc to land at your feed to explode when the fuse runs out. I believe that to be broken! It would mean that a scav had enough practice with grenades to perfectly know the angle of the throw, and I don't think scavs have the resources to do that. Their throws be more in tune with throwing the grenade, a player hearing the sound of the grenade landing, and then at least 2 seconds to run. Or at least, throw their grenade at least to far or short - they can't just throw it perfect everytime. I don't think they should be so familiar with grenades as they are now. It's a former civilian populace gone belligerent. Edited November 25, 2018 by DragunovCrux
THX_Elite
See it all the time! They'll even bounce grenades off a couple walls before ever having obtained line of sight to get it right at your feet! While I believe a few NPC Scavs should be able to do this, definitely not all and definitely not as many that are capable of doing so now is not a good balance. I have mentioned before that just as we all as players have different levels of skills, abilities, different tactics and even different luck, so too should the NPC Scavs within the world of Tarkov regarding all aspects of skills. This concept IS in the game but striking a good balance with it in coding is obviously proving difficult. They are going back and forth with NPC Scav difficulty and behavior...while It shows they are trying to find a good balance in NPC difficulty levels and skill levels, I feel there should be focus as well on the DIVERSITY of skills among the NPC Scavs.
