Ar1ld
At the current point of development the game is not ready for dynamic prices . And the flea markets impact on the prices makes it so scumbags can duck everyone else over. How are we supposed to test stuff in the game when it costs an arm and a leg to buy. When the game hits a finished state dynamic prices might work , but for now its dumb and makes testing horrible and not fun to play at all. In the future when the game reaches the "goal" of the devs gear should be expensive, but for now i think gear should cost what it used to for testing and balancing purposes. Either buy items at a premium because the player is unable to find it in raid or continue to try to find the items needed in raid or buy at normal price from a trader. Palantair
So far I haven't really felt the effects of the dynamic economy. It feels like a lot of stuff is the same price and in some cases cheaper. I also like running the 7.62 caliber of weapons or handguns and when I do run AK's I run BT. I find most of all own ammo from 5.45 either from crates or the trade in's as its so plentiful. BS isn't needed 99% of the time since nearly no one is running anything higher the Kirasa's. At worse you can run BP since that stuff is literally easy to farm. I think you might be a bit to used to just buying what you need from traders raid after raid. The idea is that eventually you will have to find most of your own stuff, might want to start getting used to it; I really hope that doesn't come of as condescending because tone is hard to convey over the interwebs. Ar1ld
i know in the future ingame loot is gonna be our main source of loot and im all for that , but for the time being traders is the way for us to test and find bugs with gear n guns. It took me 3k rounds out of the MP7 to confirm a nasty bug with it (its been reported). And right now u can rig the marked and traders which needs to be fixed. Newtonius
Dyanimc Pricing... The thing is not balanced at all and just makes this game feel less alive since this kind of thing makes me not want to run raids in fear of losing 13k roubles (that's only 60 PS bullets with that price) from a scav that doesn't die from a headshot. middlefingerSKS
Yeah those prices are wack, I saw this thread earlier but didn't agree, and then ran with my trusty SKS again and woah! I gotta spend 20k roubles just to load up a lil dinker starter SKS? No way.

This may sound silly but I can't see any point in the game when testing dynamic prices or the flea market makes sense. It's an economy outside the actual raids themselves. You never know with more maps it might get better. The other point I guess is, if stuff costs an arm and a leg now and making the game boring and not fun - thats good! Give that feedback to BSG, thats exactly what they need so they can get our feel of how its going. I haven't felt it either, my funds are constantly going up - slowly, but up. Only gunsmith has been abused by the fleamarket and I shot up from 20-30 in about an hour. That's pretty bad in my eyes but hey ho, if the other players want to do half my work for me I'm not complaining. Plus as you said, I think they are planning on making stuff a lot rarer too, so I'm not going to take how it works now as anywhere near final.
