Has anything hit a no wipe stage?

Basically title. Has anything hit a no wipe stage yet? I read a while ago something about trade rep not being wiped this turn round, Is that true? Or can we still expect -Everything- To be wiped in the future. And ultimately when and if this game ever "hits shelves" so to speak, Will everything be wiped on that day. I still just find it so hard to sink any respectable amount of time into EFT because ultimately....It's pointless isn't it? Safe for learning a few things here and there. Non persistence is real killer for me.

Right now I just treat this game like Battlefield. Doing maniac PMC and Scav runs.

Things will still get wiped even if they allow things like skills and trader rep to persist when updates do not effect those systems, when the updates do effect them they will be wiped or if everyone is sitting at enough rep to unlock all the traders from the start of the wipe.

 

The old rules still apply: everything is transitory- the old fire dies and the lords refuse their thrones. (ahem sorry wrong game )  but yeah don't count on anything lasting longer than the current patch. but that is ok as if you play tarkov to unlock things and make progress the flea market just stomped all over that i was using the the kits from last patches lvl 20-35 in this patches lvl 1-15.  

But yeah its pointless but then again so are most video games you gain very little outside of the video game by playing them (physically at least the games are art argument is another thing and not really applied to milsim fps games  ) The best you can hope for is that while you are playing the game it takes you out of your life and allows you to experience something else and for pure balls-to-the-walls adrenaline and tension you can't really beat being 35 mins into a shoreline raid loaded down with most of 4 pmcs gear knowing that there is at least another 1 around and you keep hearing little snuffly sounds that sound alot like someone following just outside of the range of comtacs but you got shot up and now you have no medical supply left and about 20hp to share between your legs so you try and push on trying to get ahead of the "person" following you. 

Well tarkov is one of the few games that actually triggers my fight-or-flight reflex it feels real and very stressful when it all works well and laughably broken when it doesn't work well but i'll take the good with the bad on that one. As very little else contains the same experience of risk and possibility of loss as without those victory feels hollow. If you where always going to get out of the raid and make 15 kills and the only question was the speed in which you did it or if you got 15 or 20 kills and you could do this on every map after playing the game for about an hour tarkov would be a much worse game for it.

Yeah they made it clear that there might be a few things that carry over the the next patch every now and then. But no matter what, everything will be reset when the game is released. Like trade standing didn't reset in 10.5 I think it was.
