IFAK Fail

Just tried using an IFAK, and it didn't stop the Bloodloss like it should, anyone else having this issues. ?

Did you have enough charge in it? Or did you have it bound and used it through the bind? It's meant to target bloodloss but sometimes it priorities limbs that have more damage.

yup you have to use the med kit on the limb that is bleeding out if you have a bunch of wounds the hotkey will sometimes not order them correctly it seems and you can end up with a bleed left over when you think your healed up.

 

A quick check on the medical screen is normally enough to make sure your not going to drop dead in a couple of mins while your on the way to the next firefight.

 

Some people also take a bandage or two if they have a excess of space (or just dump them if you need to pick something else up and your willing to risk it) even if they are taking a ifak e.c.t  it can save you from having to use up a bunch of med kit charge for a winging shot that only does 10 damage and inflects a bleed. Personally i go with the grizzly (or 2 ifaks if i wanna take in an ammo box or i can't find the toothpaste and lighters in the time it takes me to use up the last one ) in the container and then salwas or car kits for everything else (you will get shot at and if you can't heal it they may as well have killed you then and there as you'll just die bleeding out or from a cherry tap from a scav with a pm or something else  )

Cool, Thx for the Info Gents, I was pretty messed up so it makes sense that it was prioritizing damage compared to blood loss, only thing is once I was healed up I was trying to stop blood loss and it still wasn't letting me, but it ay have been maxed out, I didn't notice.
