FPS drops shoreline?

pretty new to the game , at least i haven't played in the last year lets put it at that 

i'm running a Ryzen 5 2600 with 16gb ram & a RX 570 

i'm getting a smooth 70 - 80 FPS with my settings on shoreline but every couple of minutes i get a freeze and a drop to 5 - 15 fps

How much RAM do you have?

I've heard that low RAM causes drops and stutters.

I've got 2 x 8 gb crucial ballistix Tactical 3000mhz  so 16gb

I've got 32 GB of RAM, and I have no problems on any maps, but 16 GB should be enough.

I'm not sure where it's gone wrong, best of luck.

Pretty known issue rn, having same problems. Should tell my little brother to stop playing ROBLOX ON A HIGH END GAMING PC GOD DANG

The coding and debugging is pretty bad in this game.  Next time that happens, hit the console key and see if any error messages come up.

Welcome to shoreline, one raid you have 60fps next its 40. Makes sure you have no browser open. Drop all your graphics to low but textures, i found that severly boosted my shoreline fps.
