USECWetWorker
No Roubles?!, No problem!. [LINK REMOVED] [VIDEO REMOVED] We have a serious issue with hacking, as well as now people using the auction house to do real world currency exchanges for in game currency. It was only a matter of time folks, and tons of people are buying. It's a booming market with hundreds of thousands if not millions of players involved in it now. Roubles mean nothing , because a few dollars USD or EU can simply buy you a MILLION roubles or more. I'm 100% sure the moderation team and admins know this is going on. What if anything is being done about it?. Also would be nice to get a reply instead of a thread closure. Let's actually discuss this issue or hear a statement on what can be done, as what they are doing to tackle the issue already. I have not seen any public adress regarding this matter or a single forum post. And issues like this cannot be swept under the rug.
PGR70
Good video. Good arguments. This is how a lethal combination of failing anti-cheat and absence of knowledge of game economies plays out...
aircanada
This is nothing new. If this is new to you, then "black market" existed even before you was born. Same as hacks.. And no, game will not die because of black market...
ShiroTenshi
As per the rules, please don't post links or videos to resources that break the TOS. This is basically advertising them to the entire forum. You are free to discuss this, but without mentioning any names or where they can be found. Any word on what if anything can be done about this?. It directly depreciates the value of all weapons, ammo, items and anything Roubles are spent on. Which is...-..everything. And technically they are not hacking or anything so can you even ban them?. What can be done?.

As far as the website itself, it's a bit more complicated. I know the DEVs are aware of it but cannot I disclose what they have done at this point. Flavalicious
Protip: No game in existence with a player market system is immune to this issue, and companies MUCH larger then BSG have failed to solve this problem, so not sure why its such a surprise. I mean at one time there was jails in China that had inmates farming World of Warcraft gold for resale.... lol

I would advise performing " sting " like operations to shut down the " sellers " on the market. However I believe that would require you guys expend funds. Not sure if that's do-able. Either way It's good to know something is being done. Just assure you remain aggressive with this issue.
