GSutt
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6600 CPU @3.30GHz Ram: 8.00 GB GPU GTZ 960 (Have a 970 but I just need to put it in) Windows 10 Wanna say I have a 500 power supply. What do yall think I need to upgrade? I almost always have a little too much lag and stuttering in firefights. I can still play somewhat comfortably, I just want my experience to be much more smooth, thanks!
Leskoy
Go for a next generation i7 + 16gb RAM in order to speed up the setup. You can also go for a GTX 1070/80 as they will considerably depreciate since the new generation came out. That is the bare minimum to have proper fun in Tarkov. Enjoy! Killercorpse
^ not even close If i were you I'd just add another 8 GB of RAM, that's the source of your stuttering. If you want a new CPU, I'd switch to a i5-7600k, you wont need to blow money on a 370 chipset motherboard, and it's overclockable. Your 970 is alright but if you've got the money for it a 1070 would be a big jump up from that. Not so much in Tarkov but in other games you'll notice it. Get a 650w power supply as well, the efficiency rating doesn't matter (80+ bronze/silver/gold/platinum), that just tells you how much heat it produces. ksprock
Get 8gb more RAM. Trade/sell the i5 6600 and get the i7 6700. Use the 970 or sell the 960+970 for a 980ti or 10 series GPU but pick up a 650w 80+ PSU for stability. Good luck have fun!.
