Sometimes it's just not your day (or week).

Right, hello everyone. After a strange string unsuccessful raids, I decided to put some thoughts on metaphorical paper. To clear my mind, in a sense, and manage the frustration, after yet another stupid failure - 14 deaths in 16 raids so far, and counting.

This time I simply got stuck at "awaiting session start" for about 15 minutes. Restarting the game didn't help, and then ...my unspawned character groaned in pain, apparently dying, all the while still being stuck at the loading screen. Another restart later confirmed DoA.

So, how have you been and what do you do when you get on a particularly bad streak? Do you have a "safe" map or areas, where you go to unwind and seem to do better than average? Do you just put down the game for a bit .... or  perhaps pray the servers gain sentience, so they too could suffer at least a tiny measure of your pain?

Servers been pounded poo today.  Late spawns all day, constant disconnects, just goofy crap.

I would suggest putting the game down. If your getting punished flat out, then its not fun. Games are ment to be fun.

What I do, (I get killed everytime so this is pretty standard) is I put the game down and watch streamers play. For some reason I get my 'fix' from it but dont have the stress associated with it. Then after a few videos I get keen to play. Load in see whos in the lobby and get out if there are more then 5 wanting to play customs. 

Or just play as scav if im feeling more confident than usual

What made me come back, and then immediately stop playing, was watching Streamers, scavs and other players miss them all the time, or just do minimal damage that the streamer can heal away.

Literally every game I played yesterday, and the day before, involved everyone 1 shotting me. Every player was headshotting me the nanosecond I appeared on their screen, and scavs were able to one tap me in limbs.

I don't know why this was happening, but if I wanted to be unable to win any firefights because everyone is a headshot surgeon, I'd go on a cheat server in Battlefield 4.

Yea, I feel the same way when I watch streamers - even if it is not a highlights video, but just a regular unscripted livestream. Guess I am just playing on "Hard" mode,  yea, that must be it ; )
