Good community.

I've noticed from the replies on my posts that this community is incredibly passive and supportive.

Does this actually reflect the behavior of players in game?

Also Communities like siege's just cut me off after losing 2-3 matches from toxicity, is this the case here or am i blind folded ? XD

Yes i know there is some taunts in this game that are *Toxic* but i find them passive as they are pre-determined (which is something i am a big fan of =D ).

Feel free to correct me if i am wrong or to say whatever you want, as i enjoy reading everybody's opinion.

No. Strangers will most likely kill you on sight.

But this community is usually more mature compared to most games since the average age here is probably higher. If you need people to team up with, it shouldn´t be hard at all to find some. But once you are in a raid, you will be on your own unless you came with teammates in the first place.

This gameplay is kept duo to testing purposes and will drastically change once the karma system gets introduced.

The short answer is: yes, it is.

The long answer is more complex. The game is relatively realistic which makes everyone vulnerable to poorly equipped solo players. The level will barely give you serious benefits over your opponents but gear does in certain ways. But even the best gear won´t make you invincible to a well-timed/placed shot.

An aggressive and frontal play style won´t get you far against groups when you are alone. But a few well timed shots can drop a whole team when you are alone and know what you are doing. It´s always beneficial to be inside a well-equipped and skilled team. But is it a must to get along? Definitely not. I roughly spent 50% of my playtime alone. The keywords here are adaption and rational thinking. When you play alone you shouldn´t try to approach well equipped 5 man teams directly, or at all depending on the situation. In that regard realism can be your enemy, since the best gear won´t help you through that. But a nice position without having any armor and the right scope and weapon to do the job can make a giant change.

But I think that is also one of the reasons why I love the gameplay so much. You never know what you will get. You never know who will be against you. You won´t know how much you will lose or gain.

But in general, yes it is very much possible to play the whole game alone and have success as well as fun.

But I still would recommend to anyone to find someone to play with. I personally think that any game is more fun when you´re able to share the experience. Especially if it´s a team based game which EFT definitely is. But that comes down to personal preference.
