Levelling up skills as a task is indirectly changing over time and becoming far more difficult for me.

Generally when you get worse at a game the tasks or goals get harder. But with levelling up skills such as health and stress when you're getting better at the game actually seems to have the opposite effect.

I am struggling to get these skills up without going down the route of spawning, hiding in a corner and specifically doing actions to get them higher.

My sniper skill has shot up loads, my mastering has too but my health and similar hasn't. I'm not getting shot, I'm not performing medical actions, not breaking my legs or fracturing myself anymore. I'm either dead in half a second or escaping with my loot or objectives done. This of course makes those tasks and getting beyond them a lot harder than they used to be.

FYI, I don't want to go into a game to specifically level these up, it's not in the moral style of the game really and I don't have time to waste just for that purpose.

Anyone else having the same issues?

Then don´t. Just play the game. That´s how I do.

No one is forcing you to do it. The difference to max everything out isn´t that gigantic anyways. Real skill is still way more important that your character progression skills.

EFT is in a closed beta stage. Stuff will be wiped anyways. It´s not meant to be fast, since it´s meant to be done once after the release of the game.

It´s up to you to care for such minor details. I´m often still running budget gear with nothing being maxed out and still fragging people +50. Last time I killed a level 60, I popped him with an MP5. A cheap-as-dirt setup while he was fully kitted (worth +600 rubles) and probably maxed out while having a bucket next to his computer to save time to play the game. My tip for you is: Don´t care. Play and enjoy stuff when it comes to you. That is one of the greatest things about EFT. The most important things are your decisions and your skill. Not some in game mechanics that make huge difference, that can be bought with a ton of lifetime or real currency.

Doing the same quests over and over again after each wipe was one of the main reasons I stopped playing EFT months ago. Just do the ones that get you to lvl4 with all traders or just buy stuff from the market. You can play the game without doing quests.

I know this, and believe me no one can force me to do anything and I totally agree, skill is far more important.

I like the tasks, they give me a goal. My point is up until now these character stat ones have 'come naturally' whist playing the game and I've been happy enough to wait until they hit the required limit and then I carry on with whatever they have next for me.

I'm now level 44 and this hasn't happened yet, and while I'm not really overly bothered as we're in the beta stage I'd really like to get past it as there are items like the THICC case I'd love to get my hands on. Not essential but come on we're big children and want cool stuff right?

Long term (release) I expect the amount required will be adjusted, I am curious if anyone else has noticed this issue too.

I just want the metabolism skill to level up. I've eaten enough sugar, fruit juice, and condensed milk to make my character diabetic and have the Hershey squirts.

For standard users THICC Items case is rather a must have, and its locked behind level7 health. Suprisingly this patch skills are insanely hard to level up. I dont know why BSG made it this way. I think by the time i level up to 40, highest skill i have will be 10 which is kinda ridicilous.
