Graphics/Lighting Downgrade from original trailer

The difference in quality between the lighting in this old pre release alpha footage and what we have now is huge, the lighting is far more natural looking in this old clip... the textures also generally seem better or maybe they just pop more because of the improved lighting ?

Does anyone know if the devs have any plans to bring the lighting and graphics up to this level in the future ? what we have now is a pretty notable downgrade on this video

I might be wrong, but the focus of this game is not really graphics. I understand its important now days, but there is so much going on in the game world, graphics should be the last concern

If im not mistaken the lighting in being reworked. Anyway, you should know that not only on that eft video as well as other games that prepare such videos to show on game conventions and such, are never exactly what the public will have access to it... they always embellish them to look more perfect then they will actually do in your pc.
