Etf competitive fps?

Hi all, I just had a couple great rounds of battlefield 4 with my friends. They also play escape from tarkov. The whole time we were talking about how awesome it would be if battlefield adopted an escape from tarkov style of equipment inventory and weapons customization. 

Would the developers ever consider making a mode or a spinoff game from etf that is more like a traditional first person shooter game? With teams and respawns and user operated servers and other traditional fps stuff? I love the gameplay of etf and want to experience in more modern and different ways.

No, no spinoff.

But we will introduce an even more competitive mode called "Arena", it is not going to be exactly like other games you mentioned, but it will focus on team vs team gameplay.

What exactly will this arena mode be? Is it gear fear free?

Getting real tired of the "git gud" PVP boys. Yes, this game is all about PVP which i love but the apparant need to show ur "gud" is extremely tiresome. For that reason im against arena. It's not what tarkov is about imo. If you want that, go play cs go or siege

Then don't play Arena. It's not a requirement. As for the rest of EFT, it's not all about PvP. There is no exact ratio of PvP/PvE, the game will be story based with one map. When you complete the story obj while surviving that raid you unlock the next map. The next map will be harder than the last until you complete all 10. But when you're completing you can go for PvP more, less or equal--it's up to you.
