SOUND PROBLEMS?

Last week update made me deaf. 
I listen to shotouts in any other directions.
But I can only listen to footsteps, doors, glass, etc. from people that I can see.
I only listen to sounds in the direction I`m looking at.
Maybe is related do what`s been rendered, not sure.

Anyone else?

I had same problem, where sound was coming from all directions and I couldn’t locate it.

 

go to windows, right click that speaker icon and DON’T put it on 5.1/7.1/atmos but on stereo.

that’s how I get normal audio in the game.

As @sneezecheesementioned, make sure that anything claiming to 'enhance' audio, or change it in any way, is set to off

@RageFu Ensure everything is set to stereo, all the way from Windows settings to your headphones/headset

If you are still having the same issues, with all of the above complete, it may be an issue elsewhere

One and a half year later, this problem persist.
The game has headphones to improve footsteps you can't hear.
