I am curious about the "Locked" auctions all over the Flea Market with people selling things in the thousands per item yet the item is locked. It is crazy to see a locked item from a seller where everyone is selling at most say 6 of the item and one guy is selling several thousand. Cat and mouse game as always for BSG vs these clowns but I am afraid to enter Labs without a full squad as it stands.

Honestly by doing that you only play into a hackers hands if they are after gear and rock up in a full team of 5 geared to the eyeballs you can be sure 5 tt headshots later all that good stuff will be finding its way to a thicc container they bought in with them for this reason.

The locked items on the market at from where people have posted them but its not got past the withdrawal period where they can take it down without risk as far as i was aware nothing is locked on the market for cheating/hacking reasons they would just remove them from the listings without making a fuss about it going by how they deal with everything else like this.

I just realized those listings are listed as the actual dealers themselves (i.e. Morphine Injectors, Therapist has 400k listed on the Flea Market) so I just was not paying attention to the named poster.

Far as Labs goes I have not ran into anyone yet in the couple runs that I have done nor have I seen a lot happening in normal raids but I have long time older friends that are complaining. Desync? Bad runs? Hackers? Netcode issues? I have no clue but I do know that no matter what game it is, hackers will always try to glitch/exploit/hack them through various means of manipulating any little chink in the code or mechanics that they can. It will always be a cat and mouse game but the hackers lose accounts when caught, and we simply lose gear so while we go through development I can live with that. I also know that BSG is doing better with catching them and actively banning them as best they can, I have faith that BSG will only get better as they eventually shift focus from active development to post launch care and maintenance. I know people do not like how staff locks threads on this or acts rough at times but I can place a safe bet on the fact that they do care and it frustrates them having to constantly fight these idiots while they also work on the game.

Anyways, no further bumps from me. Happy hunting out there.

I think I can address this question. I trade a lot meself, and have friends I trade with/discuss money making methods.
An item that is locked until you pass a quest is a good financial opportunity. If you push to quickly complete a quest, or level up a trader, you can buy them in bulk, and sell them at a healthy profit. You can even consider it a financial investment: throwing more money at pushing quests, knowing that if you are broke at the end, you can recoup losses in trades.

I have a bud that could buy SNB after I think 4 days. He saw the opportunity, and rushed to it. Because very few people were selling SNB rounds, the price was absurdly high, so it was a process of just buying in bulk and listing at an insane price. Scarcity in tarkov is just another word for opportunity XD
