is there a causing factor for these freeze ups that I can fix on my end? Cause they're seriously ducking me up in certain scenarios

I have a 1950x threadripper, 32gb of DDR4 and a 1060, so I highly doubt it's my hardware

I have the same issues,  basically  started after the wipe. The game will freeze for few seconds every time there's NPC or player around. It's not just annoying but also i lost A LOT of stuff and failed few quests because of it. I am in Chicago and playing on NA servers. Seems like packets loss or some sort of network lag

just accept that it will never work man. they will fix their game when it has 200 people playing it. you know, when its dead. just leave it alone and come back in a few years.

That's been happening since I started playing the game a year ago.  Especially on certain maps. But it is much worse now with the latest improved game performance. Even Factory is laggy now. I think it may be a game engine or server issue. If i's the engine they're not going to be able to fix it. Remember Dayz was a laggy mess for years and they couldn't fix it and had to go with a whole new engine and that took years. By the time they got it running decent no one was playing anymore.

I get this so f-cking much it's the most horrible thing.

At least they're trying to fix it, they've been asking for hardware, when it happens, etc. There's a thread somewhere cant remember. Nikita asked on reddit.
