Gameplay purpose for goggles

While I was watching Raid Episode 1 with a friend I noticed at 8:06 it looks like the USEC got dust and bits of brick in his eyes and it gave me an idea. This should be a feature in the game where whenever a bullet hits a wall it blows bits of it into the air and any nearby player within a small radius of it would get blinded and yell. Not only would this make the game more realistic but it will give people who miss bullets a tad bit more or a chance to turn things around in a firefight. This would also make goggles and glasses actually have a purpose rather than just being purely cosmetic as people wearing the goggles wouldn't be affected. This would also extend to visors aswell giving them some more purpose also. Hopefully someone at BSG sees this as I really feel like its an unseen part of firefights that is definitely missing from the game. I'm curious to see what people think of this idea.
