Is there hope?

I played 5 raids today. Every single raid I died to stuttering and freezing. Is there any chance that the devs just haven't gotten around to fixing this? I feel like if it was at all possible they would have done it long ago.

How often to you guys die and lose gear as a direct result of the devs killing your PMC?

Tarkov is currently on Unity 5.5.6 i believe, it's about 4 years old.

Tarkov is probably moving over to Unity 2018.3 with patch 1.2, that will be a massive improvement on everything from multiplayer api / networking to AI and Framerate.
Unity 2019.1 should still be in beta, but perhaps they move to it as well if possible.

Rust another Unity game got some massive improvements moving over to the Unity 2018 version, uncertain what version exactly.

This. Ppl just cannot be patient at all, as you said with the new unity engine it will be mich easier for the devsto fix stuff. Plus the game will have better performance instantly.
