Chaos_Theorist
Just two really: -Give us the ability to tag a raid for our own review (yes, we'd need to find a way/place to save all the replays), but only make it view-able an hour (or even 24 hours) after the raid is over--obviously to ensure no stream-sniping or exploitation. -Stop making player scavs anonymous. I really can't think of a beneficial reason for this. It just makes the (alleged) hackers MUCH more comfortable with the anonymity while (allegedly) hacking. I really think these two things alone would do a huge job at detouring any (alleged) exploitation or script kiddies from ruining the experience for us and the devs. I thought about just a report button, but that would obviously be abused in a huge way. Replays (or even just a 15 second clip of your death from the other players perspective) that can be tagged in the same way Psyonix (Rocket Leage) saves replays server-side would finally add some apprehension and paranoia to the (alleged) script-kiddies. ...Sorry for adding another thread like this, I know there's a ton. Just trying to be proactive about it, though! Happy raiding! Edited May 3, 2019 by Chaos_Theorist
Arzzet
I don’t like the idea of death replays, even if you cannot exploit it due to delay, the beauty of realism in tarkov and having no map, no markers to see enemies and players, no hud with virtual indicators... is that you cannot see sometimes from where you have been killed, and this serves to preserve your assassin strategy unknown. There will be other ways to detect cheating, as for now we can report with video proof here in the forum. The „global paranoia” have to be solved from each own, we are mature enough to know when a cheater killed us and when we are just blaming & raging. And im not trying to annoy US players but, they call cheats a lot more often than other ppl.
Chaos_Theorist
@Tr4wnet You're not wrong about that--but the proof is in the pudding. Just a little google searching will yield a staggering amount of results just in the past month alone. From ambiguous "How did he one shot me through a wall when I haven't moved in 5 minutes?" to a scav wiping a whole squad with headshots while they were all in different areas of factory. The cheats are definitely there. And when you can just load into a scav raid with complete anonymity and no fear of being reported (in ANY way) it gives incentive to the cheater. And while the cheat thread is a big step in the right direction, only a fraction of players are willing (or even have the means) to record their gameplay at a cost of FPS, simply for the chance of catching a hacker red handed. (Especially when the majority are scavs--which negates the entire point of recording, uploading and reporting.) Arzzet
Is easy to save the last minute of play quickly, and does not cost fps ( I can not see it or it’s minimal) . Nvida has that function in the control panel, other hardware might have it too or you can use other software I guess
