Encountering Gate 3 campers

I have seen people camp Gate 3 on Factory quite a few times but today I ran into a couple that were camping it and shooting people through the metal wall before they could open the door. They did this to me and I wasn't sure if this was a glitch that they could see me and shoot through a crack or if they were just wallhacking and camping the gate for loot. Anyone else experienced this? I slow walked up to the gate and they shot me through the wall and were doing mag checks the whole time to make noise.

if they have comtacs they can hear you coming up to the exit, it isnt hard to do.

No doubt that isn't what happened. There was 3 bodies in the same spot, door closed. It seemed they shot through the walls itself. My question was whether or not there is some way to see through the metal wall of Gate 3 that I am not aware of.

Can confirm after taking shots through the wall. Armor piercing rounds go through the metal. I've started wall banging people like rainbow six siege once I realized it works. Also, doors can be shot through as well. Makes sense to be honest. And yeah I've camped there before with comtacs and can always CLEARLY hear exactly where someone is.

Just did a Factory run, wooped a dude that bringed 400k in just ammo in there, along with 60rds mags for M4A1, and a fully modded M4, grabbed that stuff and ran, headed to Gate 3 and no one there, haven't seen any campers there at all today either.

yeah once you here somebody run trough the door you just shoot full auto

just happened to me but not the door, just rushed gate 3 side door

 

 note extract camping is up a lot...
