Sound Bugged?

Is it me or is there a bug with the sound when it comes to being indoors on a map like customs and you hear sounds that sound like they are right next to you or within a 50m radius but when you look about there is no one there and no trace of fighting not sure if anyone else has experienced this? makes it really hard to find spots where you believe a firefight has broke out due to where you thought the sounds were coming from.

as good as the sound is in this game, it's just as buggy.. but i never experienced thinking that someone is close by as you described.. unless bullets from very far away hit the building i'm in
